Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)

1. Please read the Information Bulletin of CTET - FEB 2014 carefully before you start filling the Online Application  Form.
2. Candidates can apply for CTET - FEB 2014 ‘ON-LINE’ through website www.ctet.nic.in
For ‘ON-LINE’ SUBMISSION - www.ctet.nic.in
Candidates can apply ‘ON-LINE’ at CTET website www.ctet.nic.in. The candidate should supply all details while filling the Online Form. Candidates are required to take a print out of the computer generated Confirmation Page with Registration Number after successful submission of data. The Confirmation Page duly complete should be sent to CBSE.

4. Application Procedure: 4 Simple Steps to be followed to apply online
Step 1: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down system generated Registration No. The candidate should supply all details while filling the Online Form. The Application Form mainly contains the personal details and contact details of the candidates. After successful submission of the data, Registration No. will be generated and it will be used to complete the remaining Steps of the Application Form and also required for all future correspondence.
Step 2: Upload Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature
Note :
  • The scanned images of photographs and signature should be in jpg format.
  • Size of the photo image must be greater than 4 kb and less than 100 kb.
  • Size of the signature image must be greater than 1 kb and less than 25 kb.
  • Image Dimension of photograph should be 3.5 cm(width) * 4.5 cm(Height) only
  • Image Dimension of signature should be 3.5 cm(length) * 1.5 cm(Height) only
* NOTE : THE Candidate particulars can be edited till the payment of fees by Debit/Credit Card has not been made or the challan is not downloaded.Once the payment of fee has been made / challan downloaded, candidate particulars cannot be edited at this stage. Thereafter corrections can be made only during the period in which on-line corrections will be allowed as per the given schedule of CTET - FEB 2014.
Step 3: Pay Examination Fee by challan or debit/credit card:
For Payment by Sundicate Bank challan: The candidate has to select “Bank e-Challan” to submit the application fee through bank. As soon as he/she selects, an e-Challan will be generated containing details of the candidate along with amount to be paid as per their category and paper(s) opted. The candidate has to take a printout of the same and take it to the nearest Core Banking Service (CBS) facility enabled Branch of the respective Bank for making payment. After payment, the candidate has to login again to the system and enter the details written on the e-Challan by the bank official like Transaction ID, Branch Code, Branch Name and date of fee deposit. After the details are uploaded, a Confirmation Page will be generated.
For Payment by India Post challan: The candidate has to select “India Post e-Challan” to submit the application fee through India Post. As soon as he/she selects, an e-Challan will be generated containing details of the candidate along with amount to be paid as per their category and paper(s) opted. The candidate has to take a printout of the same and take it to the nearest e-payment active branch of India Post office for making payment. After payment, the candidate has to login again to the system and enter the details written on the e-Challan by the India Post official like Receipt No., Pin Code, Post Office Name and date of fee deposit. After the details are uploaded, a Confirmation Page will be generated.
OR Candidate can also pay fee by Debit/ Credit Card of any bank.
Step 4: Download Confirmation Page(and Address Slip); complete in all respects should be sent to CBSE for futher processing.
5. All four Steps are mandatory. On-line application submission will be considered as complete only after receipt of "Confirmation Page".
6. Please ensure before dispatching the Confirmation Page that:-
(i) The candidate has signed the Confirmation Page at the specified place.
(ii) The candidate has pasted the recent similar passport size photograph as uploaded on the space earmarked for it on the confirmation page.
(iii) The candidate has attached the CBSE copy of Challan of the prescribed fee, in case fees was paid through challan(Not required in case fee paid by Debit/Credit Card).
(iv) The candidate has kept a photocopy of the Confirmation Page for use as reference for future correspondence.
The Confirmation Page must be dispatched in an Envelope of size 12”x9” only and paste the computer generated address slip on the envelope superscribing “APPLICATION FOR CTET- FEB 2014”.
7. The Confirmation Page, complete in all respect,along with CBSE copy of Challan if fees paid through Challan, should be sent through Registered/Speed Post only so as to reach positively by 07.11.2013 in the CBSE office addressed to;

Note While sending to CBSE do not enclose any photocopy of Educational or Caste Certificate along with this Confirmation Page.
8. The Confirmation Page, sent by courier shall be REJECTED. The Confirmation Page shall not be received personally. CBSE will not be responsible for non-receipt of Confirmation page due to any transit/postal loss.
